Beautiful spot for a multi-generational family getaway. Grounds were beautiful and plenty of space to spread out in and outside of the house! Well be back!

We had a group of 8 adults and 3 kids under 5yo. All had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it. House has 3 acoustically separate wings and all the mattresses were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. Lots of things to do on the property so you did not have to leave if you didnt want to; kayaks, bikes, swimming beach, beach toys, swimming pool, bikes, fire pit, outdoor and indoor dining spaces with enough seating for all. Beautiful veg and flower gardens. Great location close to Wolf Neck State Park and Freeport shopping/dining. You will not be disappointed!

Our Gutsy Great Novelist retreat was the best! The people, the schedule, the house (with my own special room), and the food were all tops. Im so lucky to have been a part of it.

I cant say enough good things about working with Scott Dobos and the property owners of 101 Lower Flying Point Road! Im already booking dates in 2020 and cant wait to return to the house, which is perfect for a group or family; ample private space and glorious common spaces make for a comfortable place to either retreat and relax or mill around and connect. The house is lovely, modern, and uncluttered, with a Zen-like feel that relieves stress the minute you walk through the door. The kitchen is fully-equipped, with everything exactly where you want it to be, and youd have to work darned hard to run out of dishes or silverware! The grounds are just as lovely, with a path running through the beautiful garden and around the small pond, and stairs down to the private beach on Brickyard Cove, where the sun rises each morning. A peaceful, rural neighborhood, yet close to Freeport, so you can get away from it all while still being able to zip out to Bow Street Market or LL Bean or somewhere to enjoy dinner. The owners really went the extra mile to make me and my group feel welcome, and to ensure that all we needed was available. We lacked for nothing! If youre looking for a luxurious retreat on the coast of Maine, look no further. I already think of it as my home away from home.

What a fabulous home! We treated our extended family of fifteen people (parents, four adult children and their spouses, five grandchildren aged 14 - 23) to a week here in early July, and unreservedly recommend it for a gathering such as ours. We expected it to be perfect based on the listing, but it exceeded our expectations. The house itself was perfect for our large group, accommodating five couples in private rooms and the grands in the bunkroom, which they loved! The lovely, open and bright main room offered us a space large enough to spread out, dine happily at two large tables, and spend evenings together catching up. The sauna was a real bonus for the ones who rarely have time for vacation and could de-stress. Simply and elegantly furnished, great care has been taken to ensure comfort and a feeling of home. The grounds in particular are gorgeous and lush, with perennials and herbs and a pond around the very large yard. We all had garden envy! We were thrilled that those who wanted quiet time had a place at any time of day, in the Adirondack chairs in the back garden, the chairs overlooking the cove in the morning, the large decks, and outdoor dining. Early evening had us playing combat croquet on the large lawn or throwing horseshoes in the back, all provided by the thoughtful owners. They provide all the amenities for group activities, even games and puzzles thats kept us happy for our two rainy nights. Everyone enjoyed kayaking and swimming in mid- afternoon at high tide. We were especially grateful for the array of herbs and spices (some fresh!) as well as basic pantry items. The kitchen is very well outfitted for cooking and serving for a large group, with all the cutlery, dishware and cookware required. Finally, thank you to the owners who shared their beautiful home with us and kudos to the Legacy team and Scott, who answered every question and provided useful information along the way. Our family could not be happier and will remember this week as one of our best gatherings ever,

Outstanding view! House was spotless. Comfortable beds. So nice to be able to control heat settings in individual bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Inviting outdoor areas. Kiln-dried wood for easier fire-building in the toast fireplace. What a great idea!
